1    Work or Home address?
your purchase will need someone to sign for the package as all items are too large for a standard post box. please consider whether your home or work address is best for this.

2    VAT, local tax / customs duties
VAT is automatically calculated for those buying from within the UK and the EU, but not added for those outside. 
We will only declare the correct value of the actual goods on any customs sheet so please do not ask us to adjust for you.
Please note we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs - please check details with your national authority before purchase if you are unsure.

POST Brexit January 1st 2021 -

All purchases made by Customers in the European Union will be charged a flat rate IMPORT VAT & FEES PAID % charge which ensures that DHL pre-clears your goods through customs before they have landed, meaning you have no delays to your door and no further fees to pay.

UK to EU VAT rates and charges are made as per the EU Distance Selling Regulations, summarised below:

"EU Distance Selling Threshold for Goods
Each country within the EU has a national VAT registration threshold. The EU has also created a special tax-collection system, known as Distance Selling, which aims to encourage trade across the EU and reduce the administrative burden for companies.
As a UK merchant selling and shipping goods to private individuals residing in the EU, you don’t need to register for VAT in the recipient country if your sales to that country are below the distance selling threshold. The applicable UK VAT rate should be charged on these sales. If your sales to a country within the same calendar year exceed the threshold, you must then register for VAT in that country and charge the applicable VAT rate. This chart shows the VAT registration threshold for each country."

4   Delivery and dispatch
Your order will generally leave within 3 working days of your payment, unless otherwise stated on individual product listing.
COVID 19 exceptions: the impact of Covid 19 on local despatch and delivery speeds can rise and fall nationally and regionally - this is outwith our control and as such KNOCK cannot be held liable for delays caused to your national or local delivery service.

5    Returns
Distance selling rules mean you have the right to return goods in the condition and packaging they were sent in within 14 days if you change your mind or they are not suitable but only if they remain unused -  but you will be liable to pay the outgoing AND return post and will receive only the remaining item costs as a refund (this applies to actual goods not postage purchases).

We will refund you completely, or send a 2nd item if the goods have arrived damaged or there is a problem or mistake caused by us. We aim to be as fair as possible in this and will seek to negotiate with you to reach a happy settlement. However we reserve the right to defer to our payments management system (Paypal/ Stripe etc) to assess the merits of any claim against us for a refund.
